Here are some webquests which
have been developed by one of our staff members Jan-Marie Kellow. They are all based on the
inquiry
and/or constructivist approach to teaching and learning. To access those

Dinosaur for a Pet: A webquest designed for children aged 7 - 10 years. They
must research a number of dinosaurs to find which one would make the best pet.
Bring Back the Birds: A webquest
designed for children aged 7 - 10 years. Students must research New Zealand
birds and trees to find which trees would be the best to help attract native
birds.
Spiders: A webquest
designed for children aged 7 - 10 years. A (New Zealand) spider has escaped and
students must develop a news report with a description of the spider then find
out about its habits and habitat so they can design a trap to capture it.
